Dean was born in Ohio and raised in Southern California where he ran a family importing business. Just prior to relocating to Jackson in 1997, he had a career in insurance. Upon arriving in Jackson Dean fulfilled one of his dreams and established the Jackson Hole Book Trader, a used and rare book store which he has successfully run for the past ten years.

Dean and his wife, Julie, are most proud of their four children, Todd, Nick, Hannah and Emma who reside across the country. In his spare time Dean enjoys hiking and backpacking and his passion for pottery.

Three years ago Dean and Julie purchased the home of their dreams in the town of Jackson- Indian Trails- which led him to a career in real estate. He believes that everyone should have the opportunity to own a home that they truly love at least once in their lives.
